Located on the edge of a horse paddock, at this site, you sleep in direct proximity to numerous animals from the adjacent farm. Next to your cabin, there is a small stream, and from the window, you can gaze at elderberry bushes and expansive pasturelands. Take a stroll to the opposite forest or to the farm and observe the horses, cattle, and donkeys. Additionally, at the on-site farm store, you can stock up on fresh products from the region.

Would you like to expand your radius and explore the region? Not far from your cabin, there is one of the largest contiguous heathland areas in Europe, which is perfect for hiking and birdwatching. You might even catch a glimpse of a hoopoe, which is now rare in Germany. If you feel like cooling off, you can drive to a bathing lake, known for being one of the cleanest bodies of water in the district, in just 30 minutes. Additionally, within a 20-minute drive, you'll reach a cozy restaurant nestled in a natural garden, where you can taste delicious regional dishes made from seasonal and locally grown ingredients.

Your cabin is powered by solar energy. We encourage our guests to be mindful of their power consumption.
Heating
The cabin is insulated and equipped with a wood stove to make your stay extra warm and cozy. We provide you with wood, kindling, lighter and a little guide so you can spark a crackling fire. There is no additional heating on site. If you are planning to stay here during the colder months, enjoying some foggy mornings or the snowy landscape, please also make sure to pack enough warm clothing as it can get a little colder out there.
WaTER
This location has fresh water provided, coming from a tank equipped with a water filter system so that you can drink it. Depending on the length of your stay the tank will be refilled halfway through. Nevertheless, we want to encourage you to be extra mindful in terms of water usage. The water level will be displayed in your cabin.
Anreise
The fastest connection by public transport takes you from Berlin Central Station in 2:00 h to the nearest train station. From there, a 20-minute bus ride brings you to the nearest bus stop, from where you can reach the cabin in 5 minutes by taxi or a 25-minute walk. If you bring your bike along, you also can cycle the last stretch and already take in some of the scenery. By car you will reach your cabin in about 1:15 h from Berlin, from Hamburg the journey takes 2:15 h.
