The Surroundings
This location is surrounded by a varied landscape characterized by heathland, large forests, many tranquil villages and pretty towns. Stroll through one of the weekly markets and taste regional specialties or expand your radius and take a bike tour through the landscape, which is known for its beautiful routes. In this area there is water as far as the eye can see, with 23 lakes so far, including beaches and swimming opportunities as well as a selection of activities such as boat tours and water sports.

Eichenhöhe is powered by the solar panels on the roof. As ever, we encourage our guests to be mindful of their power consumption.
HEATING
The cabin is insulated and equipped with a wood stove to make your stay extra warm and cozy. We provide you with wood, kindling, a lighter, and a little guide so you can spark a crackling fire. In addition, there’s floor heating installed.
Water
This location has fresh water provided, coming from a tank equipped with a water filter system so that you can drink it. Depending on the length of your stay the tank will be refilled halfway through. Nevertheless, we want to encourage you to be extra mindful in terms of water usage. The water level will be displayed in your cabin.
Getting There
Eichenhöhe is about 2:00 h by car from Berlin-Mitte. Alternatively, you can reach the cabin by train. The fastest connection takes you from Berlin Central Station to the closest train station within about 2:30 h, including one change. From the train station you can take a cab or alternatively reach the cabin in a few minutes by bus followed by a five-minute walk.
