Getting There

By Car

65 km from Graz. Calculate with a travel time of 1:00h

by train

Approx. 2:30 h from Graz by regional train and bus. The last stretch to the cabin can be covered by taxi.

We recommend checking the schedules according to the day of the week and time in advance and pre-booking the taxi to avoid any waiting times.

Equipment

In our cabins, you'll find everything essential for your stay in nature. The cabin is equipped with a wood stove, cosy blankets, a hot water bottle, and tea to keep you warm even on colder days. We recommend packing warm clothing like snug socks, thick sweaters, and a raincoat for rainy days. Additionally, please remember to bring sturdy footwear and rubber boots, as the meadows and fields around can be damp and muddy during the cooler months. You can add extra amenities like bikes, a grill, or a fire bowl (depending on the location).

Your contact person on-site

Daniel is your local contact person. Since 2021, he has been managing the farm and its adjoining farm shop near your cabin – a family-run operation that has been in the family for over 200 years. Animal welfare is his top priority and he personally cares for the Japanese cattle living on the farm.

For any questions or concerns during your stay, your host is here to help.
