How to make a fire?

Inside your Cabin, there’s a quiet little companion waiting for you – the wood-burning stove. Patient, steady, almost a bit magical. While the outside world stays cold and crisp, this little fire can turn your Cabin into a place of warmth, calm, and slow comfort.

Starting a fire here is not a rush, but a small ritual. Wood begins to crackle, the air starts to move, and slowly the room fills with a kind of warmth that feels bigger than just temperature – it feels like arriving.

Here you will find a short step by step guidance as well as our YouTube tutorial. So grab some firewood and enjoy the experience!

How to make a fire?

Simply follow these steps

1. Open the air supply

Fully open the air supply using the small lever underneath the stove.

2. Light the fire

Place kindling inside, light it with 2–3 fire starters, and leave the door slightly open.

3. Build embers

Let the fire burn until a solid bed of embers forms. Then add 1–2 larger logs and close the stove door completely.

4. Maintain heat mindfully

Add wood regularly to keep the fire going. Be patient – it usually takes about an hour for the stove to produce noticeable heat. Most heat comes from embers, not flames. If it gets too warm (e.g. you feel the need to open a window), stop adding wood.
