As your cabin is located on a winding patch surrounded by shrubs and trees, you’ll find just the perfect amount of tranquility at this location. At the same time your stay here might be full of encounters – for example with the horses and ponies that belong to the adjacent manor. If you like, you can observe the hustle and bustle of the farm life or settle down for a picnic on one of the meadows or in the small park. Fresh fruit and vegetables and other delicacies are available in the farm store and the accompanying café. For those who want to stroll beyond the grounds, the nearby lake and its small island are an idyllic destination. Not far away, there is also a nature reserve with a generous heath landscape that offers nature in all its facets and invites you to go hiking.
Nearby you'll also find our location Weideland. In case you're planning a getaway with your family or friends, you can spend your stay here together as both cabins aren’t too far from each other.
Wildblumenwiese is an Off-Grid site, meaning the cabin is powered by the solar panels on the roof only. Please be extra attentive in terms of energy consumption.
The cabin is insulated and equipped with a wood stove to make your stay extra warm and cozy. We provide you with wood, kindling, lighter and a little guide so you can spark a crackling fire. As Wildblumenwiese is an off-grid location, there is no additional heating. If you are planning to stay here during the colder months, enjoying some foggy mornings or the snowy landscape, please also make sure to pack enough warm clothing as it can get a little colder out there.
This location has fresh water provided, coming from a water tank equipped with a filter system so that you can drink it. Depending on the length of your stay the tank will be refilled halfway through. Nevertheless, we want to encourage you to be extra mindful in terms of water usage. The water level will be displayed in your cabin.
Wildblumenwiese is about 1:30h by car from Berlin-Mitte. Alternatively, you can reach the cabin by train. The fastest connection takes you from Berlin Central Station to the closest train station within a little over one hour, including one change. From the station, you can take a 15 minute bus ride and walk about five minutes to the cabin or take a cab.
