In the direct vicinity, you will meet a horse and two cows, happy to greet guests at the fence. In addition to numerous lakes, the surrounding area also offers a variety of hiking opportunities and a viewpoint nearby.

The Surroundings
Between Berlin and Hamburg, this location is encompassed by a vast biosphere reserve, scenic heathlands, and seemingly limitless natural areas with impressive forests and more than 50 lakes. The surrounding landscape was formed by glaciers and the many small and larger hills offer great views not too far away from your cabin.

Electricity
Your cabin is powered by solar energy. We encourage our guests to be mindful of their power consumption.
HEATING
The cabin is insulated and equipped with a wood stove to make your stay extra warm and cozy. We provide you with wood, kindling, lighter, and a little guide so you can spark a crackling fire. If you are planning to stay here during the colder months, enjoying some foggy mornings or the snowy landscape, please also make sure to pack enough warm clothing as it can get a little colder out there. In addition, there’s floor heating installed in Cabin 1 with Sky View.
Water
Your cabin has fresh water provided, coming from a tank equipped with a water filter system so that you can drink it. To conserve this precious resource, we have installed environmentally friendly dry toilets in all of our cabins. Please always try to save water as best as you can.
Getting There
The fastest train connection takes you from Berlin central station to the nearest station in 1:30 h, including one change. From Hamburg main station it takes about 2:00 h, including one change. If you bring your bike, you can cycle from here and already let the landscape work its magic on you. The other option is to take a cab from the train station to the cabin, which takes about 20 minutes or use the local call bus. By car, the location is 2:00 h away from Berlin-Mitte. From Hamburg, the journey takes 1:30 h.
