Both cabins are only a few steps away from the crystal clear water of the river, which flows leisurely through the landscape: In winter it invites to ice bathing, in summer it promises a gentle cooling with almost endless views over green meadows and lush fields.

The Surroundings
Between Berlin and Hamburg, you'll find yourself in a region with numerous unspoilt nature reserves, medieval Hanseatic towns and a nearby swimming lake. The hilly landscape around your cabin offers a variety of hiking opportunities: You can spend hours wandering through extensive forests or hike to the viewpoint and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view on a clear day. There is also an organic farm and shop in the neighbouring village where you can buy local food directly from the area.
The Facilities
Electricity
Your cabin is powered by solar energy. We encourage our guests to be mindful of their power consumption.
HEATING
The cabin is insulated and equipped with a wood stove to make your stay extra warm and cozy. We provide you with wood, kindling, lighter and a little guide so you can spark a crackling fire. As Flussblick is an off-grid location, there is no additional heating. If you are planning to stay here during the colder months, enjoying some foggy mornings or the snowy landscape, please also make sure to pack enough warm clothing as it can get a little colder out there.
Water
This location has fresh water provided, coming from a tank equipped with a water filter system so that you can drink it. Depending on the length of your stay the tank will be refilled halfway through. Nevertheless, we want to encourage you to be extra mindful in terms of water usage. The water level will be displayed in your cabin.
Getting There
The nearest station can be reached by train from all major German cities. The fastest connection by train takes you from Berlin Central Station in 2:00 h to the nearest station (including one change). From Hamburg main station you will be on site in about 2:45 h (including two changes). From the train station you can reach the cabin by cab in 20 minutes. If you bring your bike along, you also can cycle the last stretch within 45 minutes and already take in some of the scenery. By car you will reach your cabin in about 2:30 h both from Hamburg and Berlin.
